Welcome to David Hambraeus and Johanna Warnqvist's wedding
The ceremony will be in Torsångs Kyrka at 14.00 on the 30:th of August.
The wedding reception will consist of a festive dinner and dance in the lodge on Tyllsnäs Udde.
Dresscode: Formal
The Ceremony
The ceremony will be held in Torsångs kyrka and starts at 14:00. The church is the oldest church in Dalarna, built some time in the beginning of the 14th century. It's beautifully situated where the river Dalälven meets the lake Runn and surrounded by water.
Our hosts Linnea Hallin and Ida Ekmark will guide you through the first part of the day and can be contacted through david.johanna.brollop@gmail.com.
The Reception
The wedding reception will be in the quaint lodge on Tyllsnäs Udde. The place has a small stage and lots of room to dine and dance and have a merry time. All elements for a wonderful night are there, but in order to make it complete, some performances are needed. The performance can be a speech, a song, a game, or something completely different. If you want to do something, kindly contact our toastmasters Alexandru Golic and Caroline Warnqvist Lust at david.johanna.brollop@gmail.com and include [Toast] in the title.
Housing
Tyllsnäs Udde is not just a lodge, but also a hostel. We've booked the whole place and the bride and groom will stay there and hope that many of you would like to join us.
The rooms have one to five beds and shared toilets and showers. There is one main building, seven small cabins and one annex. There are kitchens that you can use, and we will probably eat breakfast together with those who want.
The hostel only has 53 beds so everybody can unfortunately not stay there. There is also the possibility of staying with family and relatives in the area, or one of the hotels in Borlänge or Falun.
If you want to stay with us at Tyllsnäs Udde, tell us in the RSVP. There is a box where you can say whom you want as room mates. We will do our best to group people together so that everyone is happy. The price will be 320 kr per night. We will let you know at the latest around 16th of June if you get a spot or not.
Transport
Borlänge is well connected with trains, but to get out to the church and the lodge you do have to go by car (or bike (or boat)). If you don't have a car and you want to be picked up, this can probably be arranged.
The church and the lodge are just 3 km apart BUT to go from one to the other you need to cross Dalälven. For the daring guest there are canoes to rent at Tyllsnäs, but for the reasonable folks who want to take the land route it's 10,3 km. Please observe that you will not be allowed at the wedding ceremony in swimwear.
If you want to book a taxi you can do so through

- Taxi Borlänge | +46 243 - 170 70
RSVP
Please fill in the form to say if you can come or not by 15th of June at the latest.

FAQ
What does dress code formal mean?
Two-piece suit of either light or darker color with a tie or bowtie. A knee- or tea-length cocktail-style dress, a trouser suit, a skirt-blouse combo, or a dressy jumpsuit.
Do I have to speak Swedish?
No! The ceremony and probably most of the speeches at the dinner will be in Swedish, but most Swedes are fluent in english and we think you will have a good time anyway.
